A quiet suburb in northern Amman is home to the Armed Forces Hotel. A traquil suburb, without the bustling traffic of the downtown area, the hotel is very well presented with obvious and effective security. The reception staff are pleasant and very helpful and were very polite throughout a two week stay. The hotel has a bed and breakfast option with a reasonable selection of well-presented foods for breakfast. The coffee is excellent and the wait staff attentive and helpful. Lunch at the restaurant is usually traditional Jordanian fare with, for example, lamb, rice...

A nice hotel with reasonable rates and facilities in a quiet part of the city. The staff are pleasant and efficient. Laundry service was excellent and cheap in comparison to normal expectations. Restaurant was clean and served reasonably priced meals.

This is a nice hotel with spacious well furnished rooms and a great complimentary breakfast. Staff is very courteous and helpful and really makes you feel at home. The musicians and the guy that offers Arab coffee in the reception area make the whole environment really great. Rates are very reasonable but this hotel is quite far away from main attractions in the city. If that is not a problem, this is a great place to stay. It offers special rebate if you are from armed forces.
